The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 982C delivers up to twice the cut-rate, durability, and life of conventional ceramic fibre discs on mild and carbon steel. Built around 3M’s Precision-Shaped Grain technology — triangular ceramic grains electrostatically oriented on a stiff vulcanised fibre backing — each grain self-fractures as it wears, exposing fresh sharp peaks and slicing through metal with less grinding pressure. Ideal for weld grinding, beveling, edge chamfering, flame-cut clean-up, and deburring on steel fabrications.
